Famous Auburn alum Charles Barkley has called Auburn racist numerous times.

Who cares if he did? Charles can be a funny and entertaining guy, but I don't know too many people who take him seriously. He is also the same guy who showed up on TNT last year with a bunch of bandages wrapped around his head to mock the Alabama students DJ Pettway and his gang of thugs almost beat to death

LULZ so you say Barkley said numerous times and you link a fraternity article...

Shall I link similar articles about Bama, or are you going to back up your claim?

Would've been a homerun hire too. Gill is burning it up

Yeah, and Chizik was the second coming of Shug Jordan, fact is Turner was Barkley's guy and then you guys chose a 2-18 coach from ISU, just saying not a flame or a dig that shite happened.

Does anyone think that Gill would have went undefeated and won the BCS National Championship at Auburn in 2010?

Probably already have the best returning OL in the SEC and it looks like we are probably going to get Austin Golson from Ole Miss. He starts at Ole Miss but will probably be 2nd string at Auburn even if he is eligible this year. Further proof of how sick our OL is

Actually you could make a legit case for Chiz over Shug.

Chiz won just as many (ONE)SEC and NC's in 4 years as Shug did in 25 years.

Plus Chiz won a major bowl, which Shug never did.

Good thing Shug was at allbarn, such a record would have gotten his arse fired at Alabama, but at allbarn they named the stadium after him.

You obviously weren't there. Shug not only won, but was a great man. He coached in an era when there were some great iconic coaches in the SEC too. Bear, Vaught, etc. Didn't win big every year, but fielded good teams that won more than their share.
Don't talk about what you don't know.

Shug was also the head basketball coach at AU, twice, and for 4 years at Georgia.

"Don't talk about what you don't know."

But I know, I was 16 years old when Shug had his one and only championship season out of 25.

Besides, what did I post that is not true? Those are facts dude, as Yogi Berra once said, "You could look it up."
