How much do coaches talk with one another?

Example: Do you think Chizick will call Dooley for some tips since they played Oregon earlier in the year?
Just wondering if this kind of stuff goes on.

It happens. Saban is going to call chiz and ask for some advice as well.

It goes on between some coaches. Stoops and Saban did it last year.
Not sure if Chiz will call Dooley though.

absolutely. most coaches have a pretty good rapport and camaraderie because of coaching in the same league, then of course many of them are long-time friends.

Yep but I doubt Chizik would call Dooley unless Auburn's plan is to actually lose the game.

More tha you wil ever know. Before you become a HC you start off as a runt, a GA typically then a position coach then a DC or OC which usually takes 15-2o years, and in that time you make all these contacts and friendships, unless you are complete arse. They all use these connections all the time.

without a doubt they will talk. They all do this. I remember when Saban was at LSU and they were playing for the NC and Bill Oliver, long time Alabama DC under Stallings, went to BR to help the team prepare.
