Hutcherson for sure...
Maybe Graham, Johnson, one of the QBs, one of the DL, and Calhoun also...
Calhoun is my sleeper pick as backup center. He's apparently kinda coming out of nowhere on the OL how Clayborn did last year...

UT/Arky- Damn y'all play a lot of true freshman!
Have you taken a gander at the Petrino/Dooley attrition rates?
Those 2 guys torched their programs to the ground.

Neither can compare to what Brad Scott did to SCAR.
If SCAR could recover using Holtz recruits, then both UT and Arkansas should be able to do it much faster ... yet they haven't. Why?
For that matter, in UT's case, the East was much tougher when Holtz turned it around for SCAR in 1999. Was Holtz that magical?

That's definitely debatable. You had Florida finish #10 and then a bunch of 8-4 teams tied for second back in 2000.
Last year you had two 11+ win teams that both finished in the top 5 as your top two teams.
Also only one SEC team lost less than four games in 2000 while 5 teams did it last year.

You can credit it to that ... or, you can credit it to the fact that Holtz recruited three Mr Footballs in their states when he first arrived, Ryan Brewer (Ohio), Andrew Pinnock (Connecticut) and Derek Watson (South Carolina) ... Watson had offers from everybody.
Along with that he recruited some defensive and offensive linemen and some WRs and coached'em-up.
We already had the DBs and a few LBs in place who took their licks in 99.
We beat a loaded UGA team early ... confidence built, and he coached'em-up for the turnaround.
UT's problem has not been totally about talent, neither has Arkansas'.

agree with this pretty much. 1 of the RB's for sure, 1 or 2 of the WR's and possibly a corner or two.. a couple of other names:
Marvin Zanders(if position change)
Tavon Ross(if he gets here)

Wont play regardless of position change. Has only been working at QB and has no time to learn routes, schemes etc.

Tavon Ross(if he gets here)
Coaches are optimistic of getting him but it will be two weeks from now at the earliest. I don't see him skipping the shirt with that little time to learn the defense. He will be stud as a RS frosh

40% of UT's roster is going through their first fall camp.
About 25-27 newcomers should see significant playing time. Fortunately, 14 of those newcomers were early enrollees and have already carved out a nice role on the team.
