Yates, why do you do this? Have you ever admitted being wrong with these types of predictions? No never.

I'm out to prove the multiverse theory. In order for me to prove it I must make outrageous claims. It's kinda like how the odds of winning the lottery are next to impossible but we continue to be told that people win it. Someone has to buy the lottery ticket. Don't worry none of it makes sense even Astrophysicists don't understand it either.

Well hell, now it makes perfect sense. Carry on.

Love to see it but our remaining schedule is damn hard. We have to play Ky again (Twice this year) and LSU, Tennessee,@Alabama, @Auburn, @Ole Miss , USC etc, its gonna be tough to keep .500

Doesn't take a lot to get hot, anyone we are able to put in the tournament is able to go deep.
See it every year.
Just as well if any of our "expected" teams have a poor night they can be gone early.
So much parody in basketball, one good player can make a game or a great run if they are hot when needed.

Depends on draw and health.

Boy, you said it right there. A key player goes down with injury and it changes everything.
I agree with the Vol just before your post, we know who the good teams are now but any team could get hot and make a run. We’ve all seen it numerous times. (I hope my dawgs are one of them).

Last year Tennessee lost Kyle Alexander in the first round and it probably cost them the Loyola game in the second round. It was our first injury all season. You can never predict something like that. Good teams can overcome injuries and it’s part of the game, but you just can’t predict tournament play in January.

Yeah that sucked but I will say this, DEEP teams can overcome an injury. Lot of teams with 5 solid starters and the drop off depending on possition can be bad. It’s happened to MSU 3 times in 10 years where it was a killer.

I do think if Tennessee stays healthy you will make a deep run. I’ve seen enough of you guys play and you have real talent.

Hahaha. Let's just keep playing and see what happens. I like our talent against anyones. Especially come tournament time. We gonna be dangerous...more dangerous lol.

I mean it just depends on the bracket, you could be a final four team but face Duke in the 2nd round
This year, you'd have to be the 8 vs 9 winner to draw Duke that early, maybe a 7 vs 10 winner if they happen to falter a bit in February.

UT and UK I think are solid picks to get to the sweet 16. It wouldn't shock me to see LSU and MSU get there either.

UT and UK. All dependent on matchup
LSU will win a game but I don't see them winning a 2nd round game. They are a nice team, though, and it wouldn't surprise me.
Not convinced about AUB either.
