CFB warehouse has UA, OU, USC and ND with 95 NC's. No way I'm going to check everyone but the NC's must be in the several hundreds...which is why a NC tends to be a subject of debate.

True if you go back to the 1800s when only 4 or 5 teams were playing. I read about the former Yale professor who started teaching at Bama and introduced football in 1892. They had never even heard of it before then.

Do you care how many USC, Notre Dame, OU, or Michigan claim? My guess is no.

I don't know how much history reading you've done but the true glory of UA football (before it got turned into a youtube 'road to 15' vid) was making a Yankee game Southern, and and becoming a traveling roadshow 60 years before FSU and BSU were even heard of.

Because Bama has enough legit titles and Conf titles that there is no reason to claim bullshite titles. Bama is, historically and now, the best football program in the sec. There is no need to add questionable titles to an already , astounding resume. Bama helped build the SEC into what it is today.
