if you don't think Arkansas will be better under brett bielema than the joke they had last year, I don't know what to tell you. Their record may not reflect it because they play in the SEC, but they will be a much harder team to beat in 2013 than they were in 2012.

well....yes...we return a ton of starters so we will be better this year than last.

Pretty common sense.

also....who is to say your players won't give up by the time our game rolls around next season? Whose fault is that?

Like I said, we'll be better than last year and ole miss will too.

I think LSU wins, like many other people.

Alabama overlooked LSU. After 21-0 at your home away from home they thought it would be a cake walk. They overlooked y'all and you blew your load and still couldn't beat them.

Point out to me their QB, RB, LB's, Oline, and WR's. I'll hang up and listen.

Right now Arkansas is close to a rent a win. They're rebuilding.

I think the big problem for Ole Miss is that they only play one easy team in their first 7 games. It is extremely realistic to think that you could start the year 1-6. And, I think the best you could hope for is to add Vandy and Auburn to that win total. So, maybe 3-4 to start the year?

Runt fans, what are your realistic expectations for the first 7 games?

the problem is ole miss fans are putting way too much stock into last years game vs LSU. Yall think because yall almost beat us and you return more starters that you'll simply be better this year.

The blowouts vs MSU and Pitt gave us a ton of momentum going into the offseason.

I just think the matchup is tilted in LSU's favor personnel-wise, and we have a slight coaching advantage, and factoring in homefield it may put us over the top.

LSU quit caring after the bama loss

How do we know LSU football teams always quit caring? I hear this shite all the time from LSU fans... how do you fans know the psychological makeup of football players so well?

We overlooked yall and yall blew your load on your rival and still couldnt do it.

Meh - I'd bet our players and coaches wanted the Egg Bowl more after 3 years of shite talk from MSU.

It doesn't matter. This is one case where a new coach is going to immediately make that team more competitive. I don't care what players they lost. The players in 2012 just didn't care. Much like LSU going from 3-8 in 1999 to 8-4 in 2000, they will be much improved. Bielema will have the players ready to play and they will be a tougher out than in 2012.

I think the months of October and November are very favorable for OM with the exception of A&M.

I see what you did there.

you can watch the team and tell, plus like I said 13 guys had already checked out thinking bout $, Sam montgomery admitted to taking plays off. Teams give up all the time after a certain # of losses, it's not some new development.

I seriously doubt that. You have a warped view on things.

Shouldn't LSU and all of their 5-stars at least covered the spread vs us last year in BR?

when we can put 13 JRs in the NFL and recruit like we do, losing guys doesn't bother us as much as other teams.
