I'm honestly hoping we play ND in Miami. That'd be hyped as hell.

Bleacher, jeez...I put more stock in the beachfinder guy.

Larry's insults against the other teams and their fanbases are probably more creative anyway. Whoever does B/R doesn't alliterate nearly enough to be considered legit.

Katy basically linked a hatchet piece as his proof. I didn't even read enough to scroll down.

They say we have 14, but then they say we have 9 that are poll titles. We have 5 that are disputable, but as long as we recognize them we have them.

I'll remember that next times when we talk about '64.

Yeah, teams like Princeton got almost all their championships before 1910 or some stupid shite like that. There were only like 6 teams playing football back then and princeton literally won it every year for a long time.

Nothing in that statement is correct.

Just so you know - Every team in the SEC started before 1910.

Out of the current 124 FBS schools over 75% started before 1910.

This game will exceed all others in hype, deservedly so. Won't matter that the Irish get pounded by 40.

ESPN will have to build an ark to hold the entire CFB world once Lou's spitting and slobbering begins if that game happens.

I can see him now, live on location at the NCG:

If ND gets past OU and USC...props to them, they deserve it as much anyone. Oregon's problem is beating USC twice. KSU's problem is that their KSU.

Just noticed the gif. Mark May will need to bring 4 or 5 changes of clothes to the set.

Rece Davis will have the forethought to wear a poncho on the set.

You linked a bleacher report wrote by a Troy student that has Cam Newton as his favorite athlete and his most memorable game was when Cadillac Williams helped Auburn beat Alabama.

Of course it did. The question is, how do you select anyone? No TV to actually watch teams, hear a handful on radio...boxscores is pretty much all ya got...that and retroactive math formulas. It is what it is man.

In 1869, Princeton's 1st NC, there were only 2 games between 2 teams and they split the championship. LINK

In 1870-73 there were only 2 games played between 2 teams and Princeton won the NC. In 1874, 3 games, 3 teams, Princeton won the NC. LINK

In 1875-79 it got a little harder with Princeton winning 2 games in 75 and 2 in 77 for the NC.

In 1878 they actually won 6 games, playing Pennsylvania twice, for the NC. LINK

Starting in the 1880's several Ivy Leaguers got together to play each year for the NC. Michigan played and lost against Princeton for the first time in 1881. LINK

Who cares what ESPN's opinion is? AS long as they don't loose the signal while broadcasting the games I'm watching on their network, I don't give a frick what they think or say.

A better question is how many titles does UT really have?

Yes, because I said that there were only 6 teams before 1910. Learn to fricking read punctuation. There was a period between those 2 sentences meaning that they were 2 completely different statements.

During the years when Princeton won all of their championships, there were VERY few schools playing football. Or at least recognized football. Hell Alabama started before 1910.

My point was that they havent wont many, if any, after 1910 and when they were winning them almost every year, there were VERY few teams even competing at the time.
