It has been almost 1000 days since Alabama has beaten LSU in the regular season. That's a long time.
It will be even longer come November.
If we were giving Saban 6 weeks to prepare AFTER LSU beat Bama at home in the Game of the Century, I might give Bama an edge this time. But, not with just a week and Miles having two weeks.

You tell 'em there chemeee. Hahahaha probally got special recognition from the SEC on his career game against vandy, two tackles (one solo and one assist). That was his high mark for the season.

Actually, I've been rantarding it up since the SEC Rant was founded and you are fairly new, so I'll cut you some slack. Seriously, though. Breathe deep. Relax. Enjoy your championship and 3rd place finish in the SEC last year. It's all just fun and games.
In the midst of my absurdities, I do think I make a few decent points, though.

The big difference between Freak for LSU and ivory for bama is that Freak actually sees the field. Particulary in SEC games and before the outcome is decided.

I love how bama fans make excuses when it's to their benefit. How they can just not count certain parts of a game.
Bama's run game was held in check because their ALL AMERICAN center really wasn't good.
Was he playing in '07 when LSU held bama to 20 yards rushing.
You don't like the fact that LSU ran some option with JJ. Those yards don't count. LSU ran for over 200 in '08 with Lee as QB. What's the excuse for that one? That was against undefeated SEC west champions.
Name the last two SEC teams to rush for over 200 against nick saban?

Fair enough and certainly true enough. The down time for LSU in present century was 17-9 during 2008/2009 seasons. Hopefully the next one will be a while. Never can tell though.

Dominance? Maybe hyperbolic but if LSU does the deal it will be 6th ATL invite and 5th CCG this century. A #1 will be it's 3rd. (or 4th, if you claim whatever sticks to the wall, which I've decided to do since everyone else does). Not a bad early start to build something comparable to the USC's, UA's, ND's, OU's, etc of old. No reason it can't be done.
