I feel like we should hire Mark Hudspeth. I feel like he would be great for Kentucky. He turned UNA into a powerhouse, doing decent things at Lafayette.

Will Taggert is another choice.

By the way, I am honored to be the 1st pick in the draft. I was also a first ballot SEC Rant Hall of Flame inductee. I have a pretty good resume on here.

I could see them going with Taggert but I don't think Joker lasts till December.

Pretty soon. I think there will be a national champion head coach available soon, y'all should pick him up.

Well, here is my 2 cents.

Look for UK to go after some connections in the NFL. Sounds like our AD and Rich Brooks are working behind the scenes and back channeling with current coordinators in the NFL that have been in the college game at one time (Gruden, OC of the Bengals name has come up).

Another name that is being floated is Sonny Dykes, was a former coordinator at UK...problem is, he has an OC (Franklin...Barner fans remember him well), he sued UKAA and worte a scathing book on the prgram...I am pretty sure the bridge has long burned and will never step back in Nutter Training Facility.

To answer you Barner, Joker will be gone, I am sure the donor/donors are creating a nice parting gift for him to leave quietly and with dignity of being a loyal UK guy.

It's a prospective coaches market. Better be ready to bid high.

A Kentucky football question? You're doing it wrong. It's almost basketball season. Joker's days are numbered.

Personally I think it's time for the Joker experiment to end, however with that said I think it's 50/50 UK gets rid of Joker.
The massive amount of injuries this season, the top 5 SOS, and the improved play of the young players might give Barnhart all he needs to bring back Joker. I can see that happening.
One name I have heard mentioned a time or two that I would be interested in seeing is Mike Bellotti, the former Oregon coach. Barnhart has strong ties to that area (see Rich Brooks), and I have read that Bellotti is ready to get back into coaching. Other than that, I haven't see any name that excites me that realistically is in play for UK.
