How is the SEC organized?

And by that I mean the structure of the conference. I know that Slive serves at the pleasure of the member institutions. Are the Presidents / Chancellors of the schools effectively a Board of Directors for the SEC? Or is there a different group that serves as the Board?
We keep talking about the meetings but I haven't seen a clear explanation anywhere of how the conference works organizationally...
