I simply hate the Missouri football program and there fans. And yes it's because you beat us albeit with 11 injured starters for the reptiles but revenge will be ours in the Fall.

You really like using that wimpy injury card. Yet, you all didn't give Mizzou the benefit of the doubt last year when we experienced perhaps the most injured team in college football history.
The SEC's assessment of Mizzou inaugural season: Mizzou sucks. Mizzou doesn't belong.

I guess you all were wrong.

Winning the East doesn't mean much in the long term. Missouri will be just fine in this league, but I wouldn't keep using your east division title to brag.
Trust me, we tried. Probably didn't help that auburn went in dry against us, but you know.

As if SC fans have never done this.

Disregard my previous statement.

The difference in y'all's injuries and Florida's and Georgia's this year is that no one tried to claim Mizzou as a good win in 2012. Up until the bowl game y'all had 1 win over a ranked opponent and y'all tried to claim that beating an injured Georgia and Florida as y'all's next best wins.

or 4 wins over teams that were ranked at the time we played them but who's counting. Love how we don't get credit for helping knock certain ranked teams *out* of the rankings there. Carry on tho.
By the way CockRocket, in terms of the serious discourse you crave, here are some quotes from the Mizzou coaching staff in direct answer to your question about Mizzou recruiting. You want the secret formula for Coca-Cola, here it is. Take notes cuz will only post this here once:
Coach Gary Pinkel: "As always, we believe in our evaluation system. We do what we do. We don't reflect on any stars. It's never come up on any player we've ever recruited. I know some programs and staffs kind of really look at that and they're really aiming to hit high in perception of their recruiting classes and the strength. But we don't ever do that and we're pleased with the results of what we get and the kids that we want. These kids are the kids that we wanted."
Mizzou safeties coach Alex Grinch on how not focusing on stars/players that lots of schools are recruiting gives him more time to explore for "diamonds in the rough":
"When that happens, all of a sudden the pool of guys that you can look at increases. Now you've got to be willing to do the leg work and be able to find those guys, but it's that retail versus wholesale type of deal. You're not spending as much time on the quote-unquote bigger stars who are getting heavily recruited, but now you can use that time to spend it in the car and drive two hours outside of Atlanta instead of hunkering down in Atlanta. Now you can kind of evaluate some of those other guys who are maybe not as heavily recruited early on. Again, that speaks to how we do things here from an evaluation standpoint. That's really freeing as a recruiting coach because you can do those things."
Mizzou wide receivers coach Pat Washington on one of Mizzou's incoming 2 star recruits, Keyon Dilosa:
"He was a guy that through our system, he was brought up through the system. Once somebody evaluated him and brought it to our attention, we evaluated his film as a staff, as an offensive staff, and we did some background research on him. A guy sitting out there with that kind of ability, it makes you wonder, okay, what's wrong? Why is he sitting out there? But when it came down to it, he fit everything that we thought we needed at that position. Like coach Pinkel said, we don't care about stars, we don't care about who's recruiting you or whatever the case may be--although he was being recruited, I'm not saying he wasn't--he was a guy we thought can help us win. So we brought him up on a visit, we really liked him and he liked us and here we are."
