Mizzou has never finished higher than 21st in their recruiting rankings. Yet, Mizzou has finished higher than 21st in the final *actual national rankings* for a season, ie BCS rankings/AP poll and what not, 5 times since then including a couple of Top 5 BCS finishes.
Something y'all could accomplish in the Big12.

You want to know how a 2 star recruit passes blue chips like Clowney and becomes the SEC Defensive Player of the Year on a division champion?
Clowney is poised to be a top 5 pick and Sam, while good his senior year, is not a top NFL prospect to say the least. Plenty of 2-3* guys turn out to be great players while some 5* blue chips can bust but it usually usually doesn't work out that way.

Anybody notice that the poster that started this thread claiming to be a Mizzou fan came on this forum in Aug. of 2011 before Mizzou got in this conference. Somebody's trolling!

I love how you still cling to this after one of said top 5 finishes just happened in your own conference along with a better record than you in conference play, against a tougher conference schedule. Carry on though.

I would say objection relevancy seeing as what players do in in the NFL has jack shite to do with how good a college program is (Mizzou beat Collin Kaepernick, a starting Super Bowl QB, like 69-13 when he played for Nevada and has the superior program, etc). All the same though, seeing as Sam is now a projected 3rd round or so NFL draft pick he won't exactly be starving, and Mizzou does have the minor detail of producing multiple NFL defensive rookies of the year in recent years. Still don't see how any of it is relevant to how good the college team is though.

And that "usually" is what mystified fans and coaching staffs hang on to. They can't quite figure out why at Mizzou its not quite as "usual" as it is at their school. Hmmm. It's something they just don't understand. And you always fear what you don't understand.

Zou Brown is the type of noob that takes this place seriously as if he's here for rational discussion and discourse. People like me "embarrass" him as a fan because he believes that people actually care.

He'll learn...eventually....I hope.

Speaking of being in someone's head: Remember This?

I somewhat feel responsible to the start of the South Carolina/Missouri trolling

FWIW, this isn't a slam on you. Just reminiscing.

No one said that.

You do however end up in killz net every night and every night he throws you back in the pond.

You either cant quit killz, you cant quit Mizzou or its a combination of both.

You pushed the button.

It is all your fault.

It escalated and some in both fan bases took it too far. (wink, wink)
