quote:

Worst conference records since 1970
.148 1989 Tennessee (4-23)
.154 1994 Alabama (4-22)
.172 2000 Vanderbilt (5-24)
.179 2010 Georgia (5-23)
.182 1983 Auburn (4-18)
.190 1979 Alabama (4-17)

So they need to go 5-4 the rest of the way to avoid finishing under .148. Hell, they need to go 4-5 just to not outright have the least amount of conference wins.

It's almost unfathomable to be this bad.

Who gives a frick about college baseball and softball? Nobody I know. Never have. STL, for example, is all about Cardinals baseball and 11 WS titles.

And relatively nobody across the nation gives a frick about college baseball compared with football and hoops. Fewer and fewer kids are even interested in playing anymore in this country. It's so much bigger in Latin America, Japan and South Korea. That's why more and more MLB players are Hispanics and Asians. Not many black athletes choose baseball anymore. College baseball gets the leftovers.

Football season can't start soon enough. College baseball is a giant bore.
