at Tennessee's summer practices? I haven't heard anything about him and have been curious. Obviously I hope the guy ends up being a bust (a grudge that time will heal I'm sure) but all reports on him during the recruitment stage pointed to him being a future stud.

So, does he have any chances of getting any meaningful PT with the Vols this year?

Lot nicer than what some fans said about him.

Well his final commitment and the way in which it occurred was shady to say the least. As long as the kid doesn't make plays that harm LSU then I wish him the best. I was pretty jazzed about him during the entire recruiting season last year and was shocked at his last minute (to put it nicely) switch.

But I am legitimately curious to hear how he's doing. Well I'm sure.

Has looked very good so far. The defensive backfield is one of our deepest positions and he is making a push to start at FS. He has also gotten a look at CB. I believe he'll be at FS with Berry at SS by the middle of the season.

BS.

So you have no problem with someone saying they want to break his kneecaps?

Yes.

He'll probably see some time in nickel packages early on & work his way into the defensive backfield.

Everything I've heard out of our practices indicate the coaches are very pleased with him.

we are a classy a bunch. I think his dad should take more heat than him for his whole part in this. He is young and easy to sway and just follows orders. Im just not going to cry about someone wishing bad things to him bc it does no good

How is Darren Myles doing too, I was a little upset with him going to UT. I thought he was for sure going to Bama.

He'll probably end up starting at UT sometime this year while if he had come to LSU he would have been redshirted.

Jackson has played fine but the db who is turning the most heads is Mike Edwards..the kid from Glenville, Ohio ( Ted Ginn Jr, Troy Smith, etc) who Ohio State DIDN"T think was gonna make his grades and pulled their offer...UT made an offer he stuck with them..OSU came back but it was too late..He chose UT..Kid can play.

I forgot about Janzen Jackson. Definitely a player we won't be missing when the season rolls around.
