If Ole Miss wins it all, when Lane Kiffin basically left because he thought he wouldn't be able to win a natty there.

The OP is already over the loss. It was unacceptable in the long term BUT I think he’s fairly comfortable with his program and having like a bazillion more nattys than anyone else.
I doubt you’re going to hurt his feelings. The only thing you did to hurt Bama long term by hiring Lane is that Bama permanently removed Lane from the list of potential future coaches.
Speaking of that Indiana loss, I think they found their top target if/when DeBoer doesn’t work out…it ain’t Kiffin.

I disagree. I think it would be funnier - especially if he never won one at LSU and Ole Miss ends up being the best chance he ever had.

If the worst coach in Ole miss history can go 15-0 at LSU I have a feeling Lane will get a chance to play for a NC at LSU.
Even if he fails I can give you about 90 million reasons why he will be ok.

That's the big dramatic narrative being pushed. That Ole Miss now has some karmic fate ahead of them. Maybe they do. It's surpassed the real dramatic story which is Indiana. But somehow I think a really nasty bunch from Miami may ruin it all for both of them.
