Everybody is raving about his speed, and I think its legit. He seemed to be outrunning James on that kick return. I'd say he is in the 4.3 range.

Weird.. I JUST watched that play on the sec website.
He's been recorded in the 4.4-4.5 range while at Florida. More importantly, he just has great football speed.
ETA: I think he also claims to have run a 4.35 before. Thats not official though.

He plays for UF. So i would imagine he is fairly swift.

I got blasted for saying he ran in the mid 4.3s earlier this year. He ran a 4.35 coming out of high school and he's said that he still runs right around a 4.35. No one remembers that he's extremely fast.

His rivals.com profile has him listed at a 4.37

There's usually maybe just one or two guys in a SEC senior class that are that fast.
Riley Cooper is not one of them.

Yep.
A 4.37 is faster than Percy Harvin.
I think Riley Cooper would be utilized a little bit more than he has been with that kind of size and speed.

Cooper ran a 6.29 60 yd dash at Perfect Game's National Showcase in Atlanta in 2006. To put that in perspective two of the fastest players in the MLB are Crawford and Ellsbury and they ran a 6.3 and 6.27, respectively.
Cooper has probably close to the same straight line speed as Harvin but that doesn't mean he'd be utilized in the same way. They are two completely different WRs. Harvin is quicker and can make people miss, Cooper has good straight line speed and runs the long routes well.

Great quote from the Jacksonville Times Union this morning..
"I'm gonna go ahead and tell ya'll like this: That's the fastest white dude I ever seen in my life," said Chris Rainey, who broke a 76-yard touchdown run against Charleston Southern. "He is super fast. My God."
Rainey is one of a kind..

I'll believe it when I see it at the combine.
Percy Harvin was the second fastest SEC reciever at the combine last year. He only ran a 4.41.
Ole Miss's Mike Wallace ran a 4.28s
