How does soaked field affect FSU-OM game?

Front will be moved on well before kickoff.
Improvements have been made to the Citrus Bowl field since that god-awful 2009 LSU-PSU slopfest.

Probably...and this is just a guess here...benefits the team with the best running back in football.

IF it wasn't turf, with improved drainage, then I see condidtioning/depth being the biggest factors. Everyone gets slowed down. But it can be like running in sand.
Other than that- like BoarEd said, the RBs get advantage since the WRs footing, and thus routes and timing, get impacted. Not to mention DL gets a little bit more time to penetrate, or diagnose.
