Well obviously you have not been to Oxford.
Having lived in both Starkville and Oxford, I can easily say Starkville is Hell and Oxford is Heaven.
You Dogs love to think we buy all our recognition. Oxford is one thing we do not have to pay for. It sells itself.
Starkville, the Land that Fun Forgot! Remember that assessment a few years back?
Even some recruits from Starkville can see the better place to play is Oxford.
Don't hate us because we're beautiful and you aren't.
Hate us because we have finally shut that loud mouth braggart of a coach you have by beating him 3 out of 4 Egg Bowls. There wasn't enough gold ( gold helmets, gold shoes, gold teeth, gold numbers?) at Fort Knox to rally your team to win the Egg Bowl.
The Golden Egg is where it belongs!
Ole Miss teams don't use gimmicks.
Hate us because our women don't NEED cowbells.
Hate us because every insult you throw our way backfires every time.
Hate us because the Ole Miss Rebels are for real!
Hate us because Mullen will never be the quality coach Freeze is. A blind man can see that!

Seriously, don't try to say starksville and Oxford are even close to the same town. I have friends from umc that not only went to state, but grew up in starksville, and they have no problem admitting that the towns aren't even close. I'm sure you can spin some things to argue about, but starksville and Oxford are not close to the same place. That's not a slight at Starkville, I like a couple of places there, but come on. Oxford is head and shoulders ahead of starksville
