And?

LSU 7-2 lost to ole miss and georgia

UGA at the time was healthy and playing extremely well. If we played them 3 weeks later we win but it is what it is.

Ole Miss the team thought they could walk in there and OM would lie down. Mett playing careless was a product of that.

Those outcomes will mean nothing on saturday. You will still have a weak secondary. You will still not be able to rush the passer. We will still have the same offensive talent that will put to shame any offense you have played except TAMU.

Yeah, no one was saying Bama was going to win last year. Take a break from posting. You're tarding up the place.

For the reasons you asserted in your posts? Again, you're astounding me with your intellectual capabilities.

that doesn't mean bama's defense was successful at stopping Mett last year. It seems to me that the only factor you use to determine who will win the game is by who won last year.

This was a thread about how your defense would stop a much improved offense that moved the ball very well last year.

Theres 2 players that see any significant time from that team. JC copeland a full back and hilliard.

Completely irrelevant to saturday.

Guess it will be a battle of defenses then... hmm who has the better defense this year?

You're the one who brought up pregame predictions from LAST YEAR. Those mean NOTHING about this upcoming game.

Our secondary might be our weakness, but we are really strong at the safety positions, and Belue has played outstanding this year. LSU doesnt have a 6'6 WR with 4.4 speed. It won't be as difficult of a task covering JL and ODBJr. They are good, and will get some yards, but I don't see either one dominating this game.

Bama does, which is why I'm concerned about this game. I do not think Bama will shut down LSU's offense, but they will make some key stops. I do not have faith in LSU's defense to do the same. Hope I'm wrong.

Literally just have to pop in game film of the Ole Miss game and watch the same exact trap play they ran work every, single, time.

pretty simple, line up and knock the shite out of LSU's offense.

you don't think LSU actually has a chance do you?

This is the only matchup where LSU has a distinct advantage.

That being said, Vinnie Sunseri was NOT our best DB, no matter what the Tiger Rant wants you to believe. That honor goes to HaHa Clinton-Dix, who is the best Safety in the country. Beside him is Landon Collins, the best tackler on our team and is a budding star.

As far as our corners go, this is the biggest area of concern. Deion Belue is way better than last year, and is our best corner. He will cover Landry or OBJ, which leaves one of those WRs pitted against our revolving door of Cyrus Jones/Eddie Jackson/Bradley Sylve. I think we will let Belue handle his WR, and bracket the other WR to help out the newbies. This will leave the middle of the field vulnerable, but we have CJ Mosley/Trey DePriest and other great LBs to fill that void.

LSU will not run on us, but they will challenge us in the passing game. As long as Belue is able to contain his man, I believe we will have success defending the pass. Not to mention that while we may not have a lot of sacks, we have gotten a lot more pressure on the QB than usual, thanks in part to a star freshman A'Shawn Robinson, who will be better than Dareus when it's all said and done.

I think the game will be close for 3 quarters, with Alabama pulling away at the end for a 34-17 victory.

LSU offense is going to struggle bad in this game, their defense is the one who will keep this game close

this year I think they are overrated.

No way. It will be the exact opposite. As I said before, LSU's offense will score points, but Bama's defense will make some key stops. LSU's defense will eventually fold, and by the 4th quarter, Bama will be able to run at will.

We have two losses and the spread is almost 2 TDs in Bama's favor.
