One more time, this time for the ladies...
We don't give a shite how your retards view us.
The fact that you have to create this thread shows how insecure yall are about Arkansas becoming a perennial power to be dealt with. Yall are having to latch on to to past history b/c you know the future is looking bright for Arkansas.
Arkansas was the best non cheating team in the SEC this year. We lose only a few key players, but will easily reload and be back in the hunt next season. A Bobby Petrino SEC squad in his 4th season is going to be a thing of beauty.
Auburn had a great run this year, but lets face it, they are not in a position to continue their dominance unless Cam comes back. They will be solid next season, but after they lose Gus to a HC job, it's downhill from there.
In Petrino's first 3 seasons after taking over from Houston Nutt, he is 2-1 against Les Miles in his 4th-6th seasons after he took over from Saban. With that being the case, there's little reason to believe Petrino doesn't have the upper hand in this matchup.
When we get our more diverse offense going with Wilson, Mitchell, Walker, and Allen (our future, more mobile QB's), Bama will no longer be able to tee off and blitz their way into wins against us like they could against Mallett. They will get torn up just like every other team that dares to try to slow us down.
Florida just hired a guy with no head coaching experience. They will be good, but how good is a mystery. Tennessee will be improving, but they are still a few years away from competing again for the SEC.
Richt is on his farewell tour at Georgia. And Spurrier has gotten his arse handed to him the past two years against Petrino.
Do I need to even talk about the Ippies, Tuckies, and Vandies?

For me the biggest question regarding the Hogs is, Can they keep Bobby Petrino? If he sticks around it isn't crazy to think that they could win some SEC championships.
Arkansas and Moo U have bright futures if they can keep their coaches, but I doubt they can.

We're insecure?
You're delusional.
You're delusional.

Arkansas and Petrino to a new contract with an 18 million dollar buy out.

Petrino may be there a couple more years. No offense, please don't get butt hurt but Arkansas isn't a destination program right now.

I don't think Petrino will be going anywhere anytime soon. The $18 million buyout and the non-compete for the entire SEC should keep most of the programs that could afford him out of the hunt. Don't think any of the big NFL programs will try for him after the Atlanta gig either. I think he will be here for at least the length of his current contract (7 yrs). IMO

Petrino isn't going anywhere for a while, but until he brings in a decent DC, AR won't do anything.

I stated he would be there a few years. But Arkansas isn't a destination, yet. It is still a stepping stone. Unless Petrino just loves Arkansas more than life itself, he will be a hot commodity in a few years.

Don't know how the contract is structured but I imagine the buyout will decrease over the years.

Yeah it wouldn't suprise me if he left but he would have his work cut out for him in Michigan, while LSU is considered to be a contender next year.

Tell me what you think happens if we actually do field a better than fair to spare defense vs at min, the West?

Yeah, half my family lives in Arkansas, aunt teaches there, uncle played there and my older brother is an alum. Probably been to more Arkansas games than most hog fans who post here.
