this happened back in the 80's in the SWC. Member of cadet corp who patrols the sideline pulled his sword on SMU cheerleaders. This was back in the pony express days. I think 1982.

Marquel Wade's hit was not as flagrant as the hit as Chad Jones hit on Joe Adams in 2009. For LSU fans to act indignant now is the absolute height of hypocrisy. There is no dirtier team in the SEC than the Bayou Bengals.
