This just isn't true. Losing 4 games and getting blown out in the SEC title game is not as good as what Ole Miss did last year. That wasn't a great year.

This is where the difference comes for Ole Miss fans. They have never had success outside of regular seasons, and realize that the only true measure of a program is through titles. And if you can't win titles, getting at least a Heisman is a pretty good consolation prize.
No one will remember Ole Miss's 11 win season 10 years from now, but people will remember that JD5 won the Heisman.

I think Ole Miss is the best of the teams that have no hope of winning a NC.
Definitely set up to disappoint their fans the most this year.
what i really like about Kiffin is that he’s been able to have success last year and then return a lot of talent. It’s hard to get fans of such a historically
mediocre team to genuinely l believe, so it’s hard to crush them when you inevitably fail.
