I, as a spoiled Bama fan, find the game to be a bore. It is a game to determine who dwells in the cellar....

Not this year! The cellar is Auburns Goddammit. And it better stay that way til Chiz is moved out of his house and on his way to (anywhere else.)

When is the last time the rivalry meant anything nationally?

Crickets. Chirp, chirp. Chirp, chirp.

I am actually concerned. The amount of cream of mushroom/chicken/celery soup consumed in all the casseroles at the tailgates means that at least 75% of the attendees have had like 350% of their daily recommended intake of sodium, and that doesn't help the Panola Sweats one bit.

I don't think both Ole Miss & MSU have ever been ranked playing each other.

Most under-rated rivalry in college football.

Since it normally didn't go up against the A&M/Texas game I usually watched some of it. We only get college football for slightly more than 4 months a year, so I don't mind watching the Egg Bowl even though I don't care who wins.

I miss it being one of the stand alone games on Thanksgiving. I've always enjoyed the little guys battle it out.

Yeah about as irrelvant as Iron Bowl was those 6 years Auburn smacked yall around like kids. At least we didnt quit playing cause Bama was scared.

Honestly the Iron Bowl has had more national recognoition but as far as true hated rivalry with several pregame fights nothing tops the Egg Bowl in Mississippi who invented hate and had teach state of alabama after we sold it how to hate.

Yeah Bama yall were about inch from never existing. Mississippi would have been Miss, alabama portion and south part of TN and west end of Georgia. That would been Mississippi a Texas sized state. There would be no Alabama or Auburn.

Yes, Dan, but since you don't matter, the fact that you could care less also doesn't matter. On the other hand, since the rest of us DO matter, the fact that you are irrelevant is a significant issue.

I find it ironic that a gump can only find meaning from life by living vicariously through the lives of 18-21 year old athletes. First, I recommend a job and getting rid of your EBT card to regain a bit of self respect.

As a novice to the SEC, I have a personal affinity for Land Grant Schools.

But, I really like Hugh Feeze for some reason. I don't hate on Dan Mullen at all.
