It comes out Tuesday. I'd imagine the top 10 to be something like:

1. Ohio State
2. TCU
3. LSU
4. MSU
5. Baylor
6. Clemson
7. Iowa
8. Florida
9. Alabama
10. Memphis

Because the committee isn't a bunch of interns filling out the polls for their bosses.... It's based on who you have played thus far, not how your season might wind up... Florida should be ranked above nd, Stanford, and Alabama in the first edition of the poll this season.

ETA: forgot about Clemson.

I think you misspelled your number 6.

It's spelled C-L-E-M-S-O-N

Not nearly as different as you think it will be.

A few teams will vary +/- one or two spots from the AP poll, much like last year.

They are like everyone else. Susceptible to mass opinion. So I doubt Florida is above Bama. Despite being on better on the field vs a rather good three game common opponent sampling.

Lsu could be 2 but I doubt it since they will give weight to what you did last year. That's the only reason Ohio state will remain at 1.

The committee pleasantly surprised me last year by having FSU at 2-3 despite the fact they were undefeated and put 1 loss teams in front of them, just because it was clear FSU was not the best team in the country.

Remember, FSU was the only undefeated team last year at the end of the regular season and finished #3 behind Alabama and Oregon.

So the committee obviously takes style points into consideration.

It doesn't matter because it will be completely different by the playoffs. Last year first poll had Miss. State, Fla. State, Auburn and Ole Miss. Only one of those made the playoffs. Too many head-to-head matchups and conference championship games remaining for it to matter at this point, except to make some people feel good for a week or two.
