Don’t be dissing the Pick of Dixie games on Saturday night back in the day. My Dad and I would listen to Jack Cristil call the State game (unless we were at the game). Then on Saturday night we would listen to the pick of Dixie games on the radio (either in the car or in the den at the house).
Great memories.

I still enjoy listening to Games on the radio even today with all the TV coverage.
Radio guys run circles around the TV folks when it comes to calling a game.

The Big Ten gets to play on Fox, NBC, and CBS every week.

The SEC might not have gotten hosed in the financial deal, but the SEC fans who will be watching games on ESPN, instead of the networks you mentioned, sure as hell will.

Big 10 Alumni bases are all over the country. You leave the snow for warmer weather.

SEC Alumni tend to stay in the warm sunny weather and you can't blame them for avoiding the snow.

That tends to keep the SEC as a "Regional" brand while the Big 10 is a "World" brand.

Not a knock on SEC but just reality.
