Thanks to Ray Tanner a metric frickton of that $$ was promised to Will Muschamp if we fire him. Over $20 million to get rid of him iirc. Just unreal that Tanner thought that was fair to the program and a good deal for us. He's a damn idiot and he needs to be the first kicked out on his fat arse.

Here's a thought..get him drunk and take pictures of him screwing a goat or something and get him fired for cause so you don't have too pay him.

The O Line wasn’t making Bentley throw into triple coverage or miss open guys.

Hey the paper bag is back! I might sport one for real as I have the enviable task of going to Athens for the game.

Weird. Your entire post is basically dedicated to defending the dude...then you call him a clown...

Obviously Clemson fans want him to keep playing. That says all you need to know

You left yourself wide open to a joke there but I'll behave. This time.

Just wondering why UofSC fans want to disown the kid.
I think he's a clown for his quotes and demeanor.
After getting smashed 56-7 it was "Everyone knew they're not that much better than us, if at all."
Then came "Never again."

He's the best option UofSC has, but they're too distraught over losing 4 straight ACC contests to realize it. They have to point a finger, and Boom and Tanner are untouchable.

You are out of your element. USC fans are calling for both of their asses.

If you're going to troll, at least be accurate.

With that O-Line, you think a true freshman pocket passer is going to fare better than Jake? Or Joyner, who the coaches don't even trust enough to give a shot?

Not going to say anything about the OL right now.

But regarding Joyner, he really doesn't fit in this offense.

What Cutcliffe does at Duke (and what Roper's playbook had in it) yeah. I've seen versions of Duke where the qb is an extremely active part of the running game.

But we don't do that. Little bit with McElwain 3 years or so ago, and nothing since.

We have some kind of pass happy offense, where the qb takes snaps from a shotgun and runs RPO's. Once every other game you might see Bentley pull the ball and take off (other than extending a play or running on a broken play). But our qb has either not wanted to run, or wasn't allowed to. No idea.

I think Hilinski will be able to play in that kind of offense more effectively than Bentley, freshman and all. But that's not going to be good enough.

But what Joyner does... maybe they let him do it? Dunno, but that's a way of life and it has to be something you do as part of your regular offense.

Not every qb ever learns to read defenses, and not everyone learns how to make a read in under a second on a read option.

No matter how good Hilinski might be as a true freshman, I don't think this offense is very well conceived. Whatever limitations Bentley put on playcalling, what the heck kind of offense are we trying to run anyway?

Idk but as much as we want out I hate to agree with this
Everyone seems to love Tanner except fans since we can’t win
And Boom’s buyout is very high

My point remains - Boom and Tanner aren't going anywhere. Your cheap-arse administration is clutching their chests at the mere thought of Boom's buyout.
Tanner is in the Good Ol Boy Club.
That's all your people care about.
