I don't think Mathieu and Perriloux would have been kicked off had Saban been their coach.
And that's not a knock on Saban.
I wish LSU didn't drug test the way they do TBH.
Kids are getting screwed over smoking pot. There are NFL HOFers who blaze out regularly.

Melvin Oliver mopped a grocery store parking lot with his girlfriend's head because she called another guy when Saban was coach and he didn't even get suspended.
Josh Reed tested positive for hardcore drugs, didn't get suspended.
Eric Edwards and Jeremy Lawrence bar fights, no suspension but Saban had them put on Prozac.
Tim Pope tried to run over a cop with his car outside of a bar called the Cell Block then fled on foot while the cops were yelling "don't run, Tim, we know its you" before he even arrived at LSU and Saban still took him in.
Upshaw beat up his gf, no suspension.
DJ Hall was suspended for the ULM game..until Bama started losing to ULM and he was magically unsuspended for the 2nd half.

So how does that have anything to do with suspending a player awaiting trial on assault charges?
