They're not flying that dog in commercial like that. That dog would be on a private plane.

So you tell me.

The owners of Uga are simply snubbing tradition for some bullshite reason, or their explanation of "our dog is old and frail and we don't think it's a good idea" might actually be truthful.

There's a dog in Georgia.

The University uses it as it's mascot.

The owner doesn't want to fly it to LA for the championship game.

The dog travels to other games that are nearly the same distance.

Sad troll. Thinks he knows our dog is healthy enough to fly but wears a mask alone in his car on his way to Starbucks for his ice latte.

A plane can't pull over every 30 minutes to let him stretch, walk and piss/shite. This really isn't that hard.

If you can't understand how a car trip is different than an airplane, you're a moron.

Makes sense now. You're definitely a moron.

Dog is 8 years old. Assuming it gets the best care UGA (a vet school) can provide, the dog should have atleast 2 more years as the mascot before retiring. But then again the inbreeding likely ruined it to the point it can breath at altitude or something.

I think he is actually 9. It is a shame what the breeding of that breed has done to them.

The best vet school in the SEC can’t figure out that what they are doing isn’t working.

They take UGA to the vet school at Auburn?

All short snout breeds are problematic. And breeding them for a color has just doomed that line.

I generally have had cockers and beagles or bird dog breeds. The only terriers I’ll have are in the Feist family.

For cats and dogs UGAs vet school is the class of the SEC. If I need livestock help I’ll call an Auburn grad. If you have exotics then a UT grad is your guy. If you want cheese then MSU is the only call you make.

Growing up my family had a mixed breed Beagle. She lived to be 18 before we had to have her put down. She was a great dog. Loyal, loving...never caused a moments trouble. I love the Bulldog as Georgia's mascot, but don't care for what the in breeding has done to them.

The Seiler is insufferable.

There are quite a few people in the administration that would drop the family if they could do so without a riot.

That being written, there is a huge difference between the stress on an animal from a four-hour car ride and a four-hour flight.

Most commercial aircraft won’t take the brachycephalics anymore. But you are right likely taking private. Still a long trip by air for that breed.
