The conference doesn't allow any grad to call a game for a school he attended. Period.

I'm constantly amazed at the stupidity of these ref arguments, though. Thanks for the laugh.

Nah I've been a fan since I was probably 10, dad went to Georgia, I graduated from there as well. I'm not donating thousands to the Hartman fund to get the honor to buy season tickets. If or when I'm financially free enough to just throw money around, I'll donate to the scholarship fund and continue buying tickets to games I want to go to from the secondary market.

At the current state, our AD is a joke and behind the times building nice facilities when we are always a top 10 revenue generating school

I do have some UGA gear I'll consider that my donation

The only team Alabama needs to win, is Alabama. That's fine by me.

Also, this is one of the silliest things I've ever read. Bama doesn't need anyone else to win. As long as Bama wins, we don't need shite.

Amen.

If you hate Ohio St, Michigan, Oklahoma, FSU then you should cheer for your conference. It eats those schools up when they have to answer questions about playing SEC teams. Stoops and Fisher especially.

The SEC cheer gets under the skin of every non member and they cant understand that although we have our favorite team and rivals we are part of a bigger group called a conference.

You're absolutely right, Saint. SEC team victories over quality ooc opponents is good for every team in the conference. It boosts the rankings of SEC teams in the polls and their resumes for the CFP committee rankings.

And this is where you're wrong.

If the SEC hadn't won 5 straight titles from 2006 to 2010 Alabama doesn't get the rematch with LSU in 2011.

That's a fact.

Conference superiority made voters pick Alabama over Oklahoma State.

Your concept is asinine.

Yes, Alabama controls it's own destiny.

However, if Alabama were to drop a conference game it helps their strength of schedule if the team that beat them was undefeated out of conference.

You can't be this dumb.

How we have members of our own fan base that don't see this is mind boggling to me.

We still get Auburn and Tennessee on the schedule so I don't get the dumbass thinking of it's better for them to lose to Clemson and Georgia Tech.

Beating a ranked opponent is way better than beating an unranked one. Alabama won't go undefeated every year. Having wins over ranked SEC teams will help. They won't be ranked if they lose to OOC teams.

For frick's sake it's not hard to understand.

People are fricking idiots though and let hatred get in the way of common Sense.

I hope every SEC team other than Auburn loses every game in every sport they ever play again. I hope your schools all lose accreditation, and all of your alumnis degrees are rendered worthless. I hope all of your administrators go to federal jail for corruption. I hope all your schools go bankrupt and shut down. I hope that all your campuses are bulldozed and burned to the ground, but only after sitting vacant for a couple decades and becoming dens for crack heads and prostitutes that used to get "educated" there.

frick all your schools and frick the SEC. Auburn will take our ball and go play in the ACC after we destroy you all, and then start the process over again with them... And keep going until we're the only show left in town.

Some of them forgot about Baylor and TCU being left out of the playoffs in 2014 because their conference was horrible.

Yep, that last playoff spot might come down to what nation thinks of SEC conference. Plus, steel makes steel...

Hogwash. Nick Saban all over national tv and a huge sponsorship payday got Bama a rematch with LSU. This thread isn't about SEC loyalty. You're just looking for playoff advantage if there is competition from another team or two. You could care less about any team, especially Auburn, unless their win helps Bama down the road. Your pious SEC-first bullshite doesn't fly here.

What the frick does it matter who I pull for to win? I don't know one team that won or lost depending on how I shouted at the house. Get over yourself Gump.
