Humans have feelings and emotions. Some of those are fear and anxiety. It doesn't make you any less of a man to have those emotions, but it does make you more of a man to own up to those emotions, accept them, and work on overcoming them to play good football.

WRONG! Young men playing college football aren't filled with anxiety, dread, and fear. They're fearless and at the peak of their physical strength and virility. They don't lie awake at night quaking in fear. I fought in a war and slept like a baby at night. I was young, fearless and bursting with testosterone like these young men playing this football game tomorrow. In their minds, they are almost infallible. In a few years, they'll learn they aren't - but thats years away. Tonite they'll sleep like babies and tomorrow they will play like they are immortal.
