Honestly, how deep is this problem rooted? Does it depend on the rest of the season? Let’s say Auburn loses 3 more games, what happens? Thoughts

Gus is the problem. Looks like the players have given up on his high school offensive philosophy to me. I don't blame them. Auburn is stuck with that goofy bastard for a few more years regardless. They want to laugh at orgeron, when all he has done is best gus 2 years in a row. Gus will be on the hot seat going into next season, bc I see auburn losing 2 more games at least this season to Bama and georgia, both on the road. Hell, Texas am may beat their arse too. I believe the players just don't have much confidence in gus and it shows.

Seems like a lot of regret at that massive contract extension for Gus. A LOT of the fans I know are more than ready for a change.

I couldn't believe they gave him a 7 year contract after last season. He isn't worth that kind of trust or that amount of money. Give me orgeron over gus all day everyday.

Yep. They're not happy with him at all. But, they're stuck with him for a couple more years it seems, no matter what happens. Georgia and Bama are going to frick them overy for sure. I will put money on Texas am beating them as well. Auburn is screwed.

Call me when an Auburn fan actually murders somebody over a loss in football

Lawyer debunked that myth.

Carry on with your dumbassery, though.

You seem pretty confident in Georgia just waltzing into tiger stadium and leaving with a w. It's going to be a tough game. LSU coming off of a loss at Florida, with their backs against the wall and destiny in its own hands is not a scenario I would want to play LSU. They're going to come out swinging saturday and give it all they've got. I see LSU coming out with the win. Georgia hasn't played anyone yet this season. Don't be shocked if LSU wins this game bc they have a good chance at doing just that.

They'll go back to hating Gus.

Then next year he'll pull a 9 win season out of his arse, probably with a miracle win at home vs either UGA or Bama, and they'll think he's on the cusp of winning the SEC again.

Then they'll lose 5 games again in the next odd numbered year where they have UGA and Bama on the road.

And the cycle will repeat itself. They'll act like they are ok with paying $7 million a year for a below average coach who will never win the SEC again, but they're dead inside.
