Their 2 biggest mid order bats have look completely flustered and tightassed the entire CWS. Dunno why that would change tonight.

Felt like it was all Wake the first couple of innings of course. LSU couldn't get the pitching going. What? 3 pitchers in 2 innings? BTW, your coach should just put a lawn chair out by the mound as much as he visits and slows down the game.

But, Wake bats haven't been impressive at all. LSU pitching got in a good groove. I felt the game was over last night when LSU scored that first run. Felt the momentum completely shift.

Understand this all: Wake is no different that UTenn, Kentucky, Virginia, etc...........in that they play 65-75% of their games in a little league ball part. They should all have incredible offensive numbers given that. When they step on a big league type of field, things kinda change. This isn't rocket science.

Well thank goodness he jogs or it would take his short little legs 20 minutes to get to the mound.

"he only throws fastballs."

I love seeing this. Even if he did, he throws a big league heater. It's got a ton of run on it and is absolutely burning at 100+ mph with perfect location nearly every single time. Even if he really did only throw fastballs, nobody would consistently hit them.

Hes got 2 or 3 other pitches that he has excellent command of. Throws a 90+mph slider. He's a fantastic pitcher.
