The view from the new visitor seats:

Looking good, hopefully they will fix the south end zone in the future, it could use an extra deck as well.

North End Zone, you mean. And that may never happen. All depends on the demand for premium seating. And whether an architect could design an expansion that would fit in a limited space.

I hope they never expand the north end zone. Looks awesome how it is. I wouldn't mind taking out North Stadium Drive & bricking it.
Do you think it would be possible to somehow build on-field suites similar to Jerry World? Would be cool but far fetched.
Side question, do you know what LSU plans to do with the Presidents House in front of the new Barnes & Noble? Please tell me they don't plan to leave it in its current state.

Be nice, but prolly never happen.

Haven't heard a thing about it, TBH. I mean they are just now getting around to proposals to renovate the Huey P. Long Fieldhouse. I can't imagine how long it would be before they get around to the Presidents House.
LSU is very good at adding new construction, very bad at renovating old.

So true
You would have thought they would have renovated it when building the bookstore. I mean shite, it's been over a year and there's still a blue tarp over the fireplace

Didn't realize A&M's design included a giant death spider

First bats and now spiders
Best home field advantage ever

They did some exterior renovations to it during/after the bookstore's construction, but I have no idea what they plan to do with it.
Maybe some offices for the university, or a visitor center? It's not a big building so I would think options are fairly limited.

I just hope that's crawling on the lens, because that would really suck if that was a shadow.

Nope, not big at all. Honestly at a loss as to what they would do with it.

Question for my Aggie brothers:
The stands to the left in this pic are the ones coming down, correct?
Are they being completely demolished, or is some of the support structure being re-purposed? If it's going to completely demolished, I'm guessing the new stands will be built similar to how the south end zone, namely erector set with faux brick cladding?
Also, will Kyle be anything like the pic here for 2014...
...or will the exterior enhancements wait until the new west side stands are built?
TIA!

The left side, (West) is remaining intact for this year. It will be completely demolished at the end of next season and that entire side will be redone.

So, there will be no premium seating on the east side, correct?
Posted on 3/12/14 at 8:16 pm to Jobu93
Thanks man! I'm guessing it will replaced with the same type of metal erector set bleachers as the south end zone, due to time constraints?
What an amazing project that is!

Insecure much? I just asked a question.

There will be at least six of the over-sized "Founder's Suites" on each side, as well as other premium seating IIRC.

You seem to have a pretty good memory. Literally every single feature of Kyle Field will be superior to Tiger Stadium. So I guess it isn't that hard to remember... just imagine everything the swamp kittens have done, but nicer.
