As long as he's good mates with our coach I like our chances. Ward is from Aberdeen, State lock.

Quay is from Morton, which is an Ole Miss pipeline (Shay Hodge, Deuce)
He's also got landshark hair already. Unless we fail miserably this year he's ours.

Nutt's doing a good job recruiting right now...I can't believe I just said that, but he is recruiting well.

He seems to have taken a real liking to Wilson, we'll see.

You'd have to be a ridiculous homer to say otherwise.

Then I assume that after 3 years of Nutt, OM will have lots of depth at skill positions this year and into the future, and not have to use grad-student loopholes and give thugs second, I mean third and fourth chances in order to have a chance of going .500.

We were going to win 6 or 7 games with Stanley.
Now we've got a shot at another 8 win regular season.

We really haven't even seen what his recruits can do yet outside of maybe Massie or Shackelford.

Can't believe an Arky fan just admitted that...

Jesse Grandy returned two kickoffs for TD's last year and scored on a reverse against LSU.
Brandon Bolden has shown that he is top quality, too. Over 600 yards rushing a year in his first two seasons.

This.
And its called the "Houston Nutt Rule" for a reason. A lot of the great recruiting you guys give him credit for will never play a down at Ole Miss.

Like who? so we had three guys top athletes from one class not play a down. shite happens.
Essentially everybody from last year's even higher ranked class will play.

I thought Bolden was pretty much an O guy, Nutt hasn't been back in LA since until his buddy's son came along in Hutson.

Now we're going to spin, spin, and spin some more...

Nutt is an ok recruiter and an ok coach.
And he has beaten Petrino on the field and in recruiting the last 2 years... So if Nutt is only ok at recruiting and coaching, this makes Petrino what? bad at both?

Don't forget that Quay is committed to Ole Miss.
Quay is coming to the home opener vs. Jax State

And yes, Nutt can't recruit

O wanted him as a linebacker. Nutt sealed the deal. We've been trying to recruit in Louisiana, but haven't had as much success there as we have in Florida. I'm okay with that.

I expect OM to sign Raven and maybe more in LA this year, State has already signed three players there and could add 2-3 more.
