Guy has done a great job in 2 interim roles at USC and LSU. He probably won't get the LSU job, but the Sugar Bowl and a month of celebration leading up to the game in New Orleans for a down and dirty Cajun like Coach O and his LSU team would be a well earned reward. If they win out you have to think that they will get that chance.

Something tells me you're just hoping LSU hires O so Alabama will continue to stomp LSU

Did you read my post? LSU isn't going to hire O. I think it would be awesome for him to get to coach LSU in a Sugar Bowl as his final game in purple in gold as a reward for a job well done.

If LSU doesn't hire him, then he probably doesn't coach the bowl game. It will play out like at USC. New coach is named day after regular season ends, he gets pissed and quits before bowl game, interim interim is named for bowl game.

That's certainly possible. Would hope he would see it as an opportunity to win out with his guys and increase his own stock even more.

I like where your at, I think CEO is a good fit for LSU. I'd like to see him have a chance for a few seasons to put his OC in place and see where he goes. He's been a positive for recruiting and he's done a better job rebounding the team from the Alabama game then I've seen in quite a while.

There is nothing different about this lsu with miles or coach o

They would still have same record. Miles would have won all the games they won and lost to bama. You guys are kidding yourself

Maybe, maybe not. They lost to similarly mediocre Arkansas teams the last 2 seasons. They beat them by 4 TDs on the road Saturday.

At what? Wanting LSU to win out and Coach O to get the satisfaction of coaching in a Sugar Bowl in New Orleans before he moves on to another job and LSU hires someone else full time?

Man, what a fvckin Bammer!

Shocked that (as usual) Bama fans are obsessing about LSU after having won the SEC West with two weeks left in the season. Rather than talking about SECCG matchups and who they will meet in the CFP (infinite possibilities) they want to talk about LSU and their coaching situation.

Yup. Shocked.

Miles would have beat Arkansas. They are so horrible against the run. There is nothing coach o did that miles wouldn't have done

The Legend of coach o is a mythical proportions. Do people understand how good auburn, Wisconsin and bama defense is this year. They've been shutting everyone down.

People make it seem like lsu should or would be scoring 30-40 points against them without miles this year

I don't think they are going to need much help getting there. I fully expect them to blow out the Gators and A&M.

You have a weird definition of obsession

Yea, I should be posting more smack to Mississippi State fans or to Chattanooga fans about their upcoming beatdown.

Bad news bro, the LSU-Florida game this weekend almost single handedly decides who Alabama plays for the SEC Title. So there might be even MORE Bammers posting about LSU this week.

Hope you can find a safe space. Good luck.

Most of us feel like we will continue to beat LSU regardless of who is coaching them. Alabama is a better program historically and LSU isn't hiring a coach better than Saban. I'm sure that sounds arrogant to you, but both points are factual.

Sorry you are unable to understand. Enjoy your obsession with the second place team (at best) in the SEC West.

And considering you have Army as a team avi, you might want to rethink your safe space remark. Let's just say I have been in a few places that are not safe. Maybe once or twice. Kind of goes with my profession.

No obsession, just respect the job Coach O has done and hope he gets a reward for it. LSU in a Sugar Bowl in New Orleans would be fun and O deserves it. And I'm not advocating for or expecting him to get the full time job.

I don't quite understand why this is rustling you so much.

Thanks for your service.

Lol, so if we talk about Alabama, we're insecure. Talk about other CFB teams, we're obsessed.

Gotcha.
