Let it go Prof. You are trying to have a rational discussion on a board that prides itself on hyperbole. It is a shame you lost a very good player in the way that you did. But now it is time for Milton to step up and take the reins.

I've been adamant with the regular Vol posters that they were letting alters write checks that the long time posters would be left holding to cash once all the shite settled.
Didn't stop not one of them (okay, maybe BigOrangeKen) from gladly accepting those checks, and writing a few of their own.
No, those alter trolls just reawakened an attitude that had long been dormant within your fanbase. Like the South Park Mel Gibson episode, farting and shitting on everything.
A lot of the younger folk don't know. Us older heads remember well.

If you are so upset then you are free to leave. No one is holding you hostage here. Rocky Flops demise has obviously hit you hard. But your fan base brought it on themselves and if you expect people to shrug and forget all the smack y’all were dishing out you are going to be disappointed. I've been off the web for the vast majority of the day. Coming in and reading this thread after the fact.
As I said in the game thread last night, I consider you TN's best poster. I know you're hurting from both the game loss and the loss of your best player.
Don't let the totality of the situation get to you. Let it go and just ignore what the fans of other programs have to say. Right or wrong. I will just get you more worked up, for no real gain. They're just pouring salt in a wound.
Hang in there. It will get better.
That being said, wishing Mr. Hooker a speedy recovery.
