NO from Texas A&M for obvious reasons.
NO from Mizzou for the same reasons.
NO from Arky because the older ones know what a cancer the Horns are.
We form a pact with Florida, USCe, and Kentucky to never let Florida State, Clemson, or Louisville in. I'm sure that we could scare up another NO vote from someone else.

LSU is as big a "No" as Bama, if not bigger. The same reasons -- don't want Texas coming in trying to throw its weight around -- plus having a SEC recruiting powerhouse operating next door in Texas is just not in their best interests. They're already jockeying with TAMU for some recruits. Add Georgia to the list of programs not willing to let in in-state rivals as well. And it's entirely possible Ole Miss will object to Texas for historical reasons.

They invited Texas and Oklahoma and they declined. That is when they offered Aggie and Mizzou. You guys were the second choice. Google it if you do not believe me. It is out there on the web from legit news sources and commented on by Texas and Oklahoma administrators.

Hadn't thought about that angle yet. If they were to try to get in I think we'd see:

NO from Texas A&M for obvious reasons.

I feel sure you omission of Georgia was unintentional.

If you understand,
Florida / Florida State
South Carolina / Clemson
Kentucky / Louisville

Georgia / Georgia Tech should come to mind as well

It did, but not knowing the full history I incorrectly assumed that since they left on their own that they wouldn't even WANT to come back. I didn't realize that they had tried already and had been denied. Yeah, I don't blame Georgia for wanting to keep them out.
