Is there anyone out there who still will say they would prefer Marcel “defenses are hard to” Reed over Arch?
It was odd to hear that position last year when it was empirically shown that Marcel play cost them the playoffs and plugging in Arch play at the end of the season they win games, but after week 2 are there still Marcel believers?

Texas is going 12-0 and Arch is winning the Heisman. Anything short of that would be a disappointment to the media’s preseason expectations so that’s what I’m going with.

I’d rather have Reed with Wiggins/Elko calling the offensive plays than Manning running Sark’s plays. Sarkisian as usual called a mostly shitty game. Muschamp saved Texas’ arse.

I don't understand the obsession with the kid , he's a decent player but he didn't do anything dozens of 4th year quarterbacks couldn't do , the offensive line won that game by opening up huge running lanes for the backs forcing the safeties up to support the run

Actually I’m not begging for Arch praise as much as I’m trying to get Aggies to either admit on record or self-discover in real time some concern and disappointment in the QB they have. To the other guys point, if any average 4 year senior could do what Marcel has not shown a sustained ability to do with ample chance and time, what will it take to recognize that your Aggie teams are wasted because of QB?

Yes. I’m entertaining the argument, which is what rational people do, instead of dismissing anything contrary to the hive mind as trolling.
Let’s say Arch is wholly average. How is that not even more of an indictment on Elko, A&M AD, recruiters, etc to not get better at QB with so much invested in the team and the last couple of years and the opportunities?y Because in this world you can argue with data and results that Reed doesn’t even rise to the level of average.
