Don't get me wrong now- Brandon Allen is a talent. In fact, on the 1st drive he was 6-8, with a TD. But as a freshman he's not ready to be put in that kind of situation and perform.

The worst thing the coaches did was not giving Dennis Johnson more carries. Knile is not there yet and behind this line I don't know if he ever will be. Johnson was hitting the hole, running over people, and ripping off 5-7 yards consistently. I think he ended up going 7 for 50.
PPs excuse for the 4th quarter was that ULM was stacking the line. We could have kneeled on the ball and probably not givin up a 21 point lead. We had one possession with three consecutive incompletions that lasted fricking 16 seconds.

The only reasonable excuse I could see for abandoning the running game like we did was because we had lost our top 2 fullbacks. Or am I completely off base with that?

I think we may be witnessing a tank job by the staff. It BMFP's staff. They may all go with him wherever he lands. We traded the msm for the carroll college clique.
