Alcapone -

Sorry bout that, bruh. The guy had three pages worth of shite talking & incorrect info that I addressed. Needed time to do that. All the points I made were necessary and valid.

3) what is your source for that % of carries with 15+ point lead? Without citing a source your argument has zero credibility

Interesting, because you cite no sources for your 'facts' seen in #2? Give me a break. I don't post bunk stats and I have no need to. But since you are one lazy count, here you go.

Also, it's 55% of his carries.

Zero incorrect info and very little (if any) shite talking. Any incorrect numbers are likely due to typos.

bama fans do it because most of us follow 'crootin pretty close. plus, in recent years we've been replacing shula recruits with saban recruits and honestly, a lot of times our backups were more talented than the starters

i know that feel bro. we do it with our DBs, and rightfully so. it's hard to imagine mark ingram, trent richardson, then lacy/hart/fowler matching the production/talent of a heisman winner and a future heisman finalist (or winner?). I would doubt that Lacy or Hart even sniff new york IMO.

I don't understand why we are bringing your mother into a thread about Eddie Lacy.

ETA: thanks for the link. I noticed you also conveniently left out that Lacy gets more carries in the 2nd quarter than any other quarter, and that nearly 50% of his carries come in the first half.

How many plays do LSU fans think there are in a game? If healthy, Trent and Lacy are all Alabama will need or use. And they are better than LSU's top 2. All this 1-5 shite is ridiculous. FIVE fricking running backs won't get meaningful time in this game for y'all

Do you know what half means?

(0.5) * C
1/2
50%
50 out of 100
One half of four is two.
If you had four apples and ate two -- you ate half of your apples.

55% of his carries come when Alabama is leading by 15 or more points. Fact. I didn't leave shite out, your miserable reading comprehension helped you miss the message between the lines.

Honestly, we probably will see 6 different guys get carries..

Ware and Ford will get 12-15 a piece.
Blue will get 6-7
Hilliard will get 3-5
Jefferson will get 10
Shepard will get 1-2
Magee will get 1-2

It's all about when they get those carries.

And Alabama is probably winning by 15 or more points for 55% of gametime this year, so that would make total sense. So what is the fricking point?

Trent Richardson only gets ~26% of his carries when Alabama is leading by 15 or more. My point is that most of Lacys carries (and his high ypc) is due to him getting most of his carries in garbage time against inferior and beatdown competition.

He's very good, but when he steps into the starting spot next year.. his ypc will drop 1-2 full yards. Maybe more.

So let me get this straight. Lacy gets 55% of his carries when Alabama is up 15. And Alabama has been winning games by a pretty good amount wouldn't you say? You're gonna knock him because he gets basically half his carries when the Tide is kicking arse? Even though he ALSO gets nearly half his carries when the game is close? That is a ridiculous way of measuring how good he is....

i knock him cause he can't spell Eddie or Lacy and he was nailing 12 year old girls his senior year of high school. and he has woman hair.

It's not a knock on him. It simply explains why his ypc is so high. It will drop back down next season when he moves into the starting role, it almost always does.

I like Lacy and I think he is really good

So at what point in a game is LSU usually up by 15? Does that mean that the guys who get the carries then won't be as good next year? LSU's 1-5 is the shite.....but 3-5 actually aren't as good and can't step into the starting roll without a drop off. I don't mean to be arguing like this, it's just this up 15 stat is really really weak. Anyways good luck to you and LSU Hope it's a great game
