I've got one for the failtacular that is Connor Norman:

quote:
John 11:35

I'm thinking way too deeply about it, but I disagree. Connor isn't good, but he is a walkon in the SEC, the mere fact he doesn't get burned on literally every single play is a miracle. His should be a verse about something inspiring that still failed in the end.

As for 11:35, I'd put it on Corey Moore. Here is a 4 star recruit that was supposed to be a star, but cannot beat out the walk-on who you selected.

Or put it on the back of Greg Blue and it takes on an entirely different connotation.

Also, Todd Gurley is Psalms 97:2-97:4.

quote:

2 Clouds and darkness [are] round about him: righteousness and judgment [are] the habitation of his throne.
3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

Amen.

Not a bad choice, but I feel like Jordan Jenkins might be a better fit for that.

Jordan hasn't done it, yet.

He's got some ginormous shoes to fill.

Gurley already brings the pain train.

I thought about adding a "hopefully" at the end. It would've been perfect for Jarvis if the one already mentioned wasn't even better. Jordan did have 8 TFL, 5 Sacks, 16 hurries, a forced fumble and 2 passess broken up backing up Jarvis though, it is enough reason to think he can grow into that verse, .

Kwame could have been Genesis 1:1.

He wasn't really backing up Jarvis, though.

He was starting on the opposite side the last half of the season.
