You don't really think Auburn would have beaten USC, do you? I mean, Oklahoma was undefeated, and USC beat them like a drum, 55-19. Auburn had a good team, but there is no doubt in my mind that USC was the best team that year. And I think it's safe to say that I'm in the majority.

Congrats on your daughters scholly HSV. I am on a full ride and all I had to do was go on vacation for 7 months to the sandy, sunny beaches of Baghdad. Its always impressive to see anyone get an academic scholarship.

I've learned... over the years... that the SEC is far and away the strongest conference in college football. I would not count Auburn out in 2004. If the SEC had won the last 3 NCs (like they did before we did it last season) Auburn would have been in the big game. They should have been. frick USC. They play high school teams all year.

HSV, there is no discussing with RMFT. He is always right and there isn't anything you could say to change his mind because he has already thought up every conceivable argument.
