As many of you already know, my son recently graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from the University of Alabama—a proud moment for all of us.
Over the past year, he’s been working tirelessly to build a competitive and sustainable E-Sports program at Alabama. Last fall, he had the team ranked in the national top ten and led them to several tournament wins, even bringing in some serious prize money. He’s now actively recruiting players and has attracted interest from some high-ranking prospects. The university is doing amazing things across the board—as I’ve mentioned before—and I have zero complaints about them.
That said, it’s probably time for him to start talking to someone in a position of authority before he gets too far out in front of this on his own.
So, does anyone—students, alumni, faculty—know who he should connect with? Alabama is behind the curve in this area, but he’s committed to helping make it a top-tier destination for competitive gaming. His teams have already beaten schools like Auburn and Texas A&M with little to no institutional backing, and I don’t really get it but I want to least help point him the right way.

If all this is true then you fired a lucky load to spawn your son.
Also, if all this is true, you need to lay low and let your son manage his own affairs. That's brutal reading and I'm not combing through that again trying to figure what the eff you're talking about.
Let the Cum Laude take care of it and go change overalls.

Tell them we have a national championship Esports program with a brand new arena just down the road at Shelton State Community College. Funny you send that today because I just literally signed a letter of appointment to renew our current esports coach today
Text from my friend who is the president at Shelton

If you're serious, Camden County College in NJ. By far, one of the most dynamic and competitive esports program and state-of-the-art arena in the nation.
