Scoop, my buddy,been there man. I have 15 stiches in my head, broken knuckles, and stiches in both hands and God knows how mny years off my life from LSU and New Orleans Saints games. The best year of my life is when I gave up on the saints and went fishing in the gulf every Sunday afternoon. If I would have been this pissed off when I played...well I still would be a 6 foot 180 DE. (lol)

Look, Bama guys, we(LSU guys ) have all been given you hell about the loss, but truth be told, you guys are not world beaters yet and you have too admit had your share of luck this year. Saban did a awesome job getting you to the SEC Championship game. I thought you played a great game against Florida, who I picked to win the SEC and be in the NC game in August. Saban tried to warn the players but they didn't listen. They are Kids it happened even when the Bear was there. Lets face it there was no enthuism for this game. Your fans were even bummed out. Tickets were avialable. It was like the the old damn consolidation game in the NCCA basketball tournament they used to play. It was anti-climatic, and the kids were down. It happens, Saban is not God.

Come on man, do you really think with JPW at QB you would beat OK? It is Florida year, and always was, you guys had a great season and the Saban rebuilding in ahead of schedule. You are now one of "the teams".

However, and this is what gets in many LSU Florida UT Georgia Ole Miss fans Craw (Auburn just hates you freaking guts and always will.), the Bear, who was the greatest coach in all of football in my opinion is dead. But more importantly, the conditions where he coached, unlimited scholarships, you guys gitting an extra SEC game vs Vandy, and weak SEC and non-existant Auburn program are all gone. You are "one of teams" again. Welcome back to the upper echilon after a long break. You deserve to be here. But times have changed and forgive us if we all just down fade back into the PACK. We deserve to be here too and if you have not noticed in a few weeks 4 of the last five National Champions are here. And we have just as much money, fan support, and recruits and Good coaches, top facilities, etc as you do. So forgive us if we don't quake with fear and run and hide. Most of us don't hate your guys, we just love our teams more.

Oh, and I pulled for you guys in the Sugar Bowl like most SEC fans, and will pull for every SEC school in every bowl.

As one of my buddies, and a bama fan said this fall, I will pull for bama and be sad if you guys beat us (LSU) but I will be damned if I am going to let a bunch of 18-19 year old kids I have no control of ruin my weekend.

Words to live by.

Bama will knock off LSU occasionally. But much like LSU did when it had Saban, be prepared to lose at least one game every year you should win, even in years where you beat LSU.

P.S. Congrats on the we went undefeated in the regular season and don't have anything to show for it trophy.

I don't think the guy took a month off from coaching. If you watch the press conferences from the past two weeks I think you can tell he was worried.

I'm not going to retype my thoughts on the game and why it was a bad matchup for us. If you are worried that much about it then just do some searching on the board.

You really should expect more for the money you spent. It's almost criminal the way he pulls his Mike Ditka act on the players on the sideline and field. I guess he doesn't consider losing your compsure as a character flaw.

Hey Scoop, we missed you on the Board the last couple of days.

Never let a bunch of 18 to 21 year olds ruin your weekend or holiday, because they will.

That coach on the otherhand, and his continued ability to lay an egg in at least one game a year should bother you. Those losses go beyond the process he talks about so much. Somewhere along the line he himself loses sight of the process.
