I would rather get beat by #1 Alabama in OT than get beat in every aspect of the game by Utah.

What about State the last two previous seasons. And struggling with Tulane this year.

What about Arky 2 years in a row and struggling with Troy?

No matter how much spinning you guys want to to, Bama's season was head and shoulders above LSU's.

It certainly was I agree we had major QB & defense problems, but contributing to that is the down year of the SEC overall....]
Auburn
LSU
State
Arkansas
Georgia - struggled
Tennessee

that's half of the SEC

and South Carolina & Kentucky wasn't great.

Alabama does not have to play Florida in the regular season. That would have been a loss to break up their undefeated season. Still would have been a good season, just not a great one.
