deserved
Is it about identifying what teams deserve or what teams are the best teams? I think you’re exactly illustrating my point. It’s not about what a team deserves. It’s about what teams are the best teams.
That said Aggies should have been about 11.

You can’t just cry about teams who didn’t deserve it without actually telling me teams who did.
Ole Miss didn’t have a good SOS. Who are all the ranked teams they beat to have them deserve to be in the top 4
They beat OU and that’s literally it,

Again. Learn to read the entire text. I said top four was justified. What wasn’t justified is OSU being ranked number 1 and number two after losing. Georgia and Indiana should have been 1 and 2.
OSU should have been four max.
I hear you about Ole Miss. But Oregon didn’t beat many teams either. We need to punish conferences that intentionally avoid playing each other.
Half the SEC didn’t play the other half and the same with the Big 10.
So i don’t have an answer because it’s structured that way so teams don’t actually ever play each other to determine this.
In that case my argument is to punish the conference for doing that shite to begin with. Do it completely based on SOR or SOS. Or both.
But the real problem you are hiding behind is that your entire conference and the SEC as well is a house of cards intentionally set up this way.

Here is the problem with the thread. You can't just say "these teams shouldn't have been ranked where they are" then when I say who would you put there instead you don't have an answer.
OSU pre-season had 2 top 15 road games in Ill. and Michigan and the Preseason 1 and 2 teams. That schedule is perfectly difficult. Texas was a good team, PSU fell off a cliff, Ill. had some struggles and Michigan was top 25 but no more. How the hell can you punish OSU when they literally scheduled the #1 team in their non conference.
You have no valid reason to do it better, so don't start the thread

Seems they got it right after all.
One of the best things the committee can do is never listen to idiot fans.
