Georgia Alabama Florida and Auburn won’t be in the same pod.

You’ll get two teams with a long-standing rivalry together in each pod. There’s no splitting up UGA/UF.

It's what I detest about expansion. Screws up rivalries that have existed for a century or more.

Ole Miss doesn't really have a say in anything.

Any pods that are made you have to put A&M and Texas in the same pod. That is like saying you split up Bama/AU or Ole Miss/MSU, you just can’t. The powers at be have to put those two back together again.

Everyone on this board knows that the TAMU/Texas games will be “must see TV” no different from the Iron Bowl.

And I don’t think Bama will allow themselves to be put into a pod with “UGA, UF & AU” just sayin.

Logistically it works if you move A&M into the pod with Texas and move Arkansas in the pod that plays LSU, but like I said no way Bama allows themselves out in a pod with UF, UGA & AU, no way.

Keep 1-2 perm rivals to protect those rivalries while still balancing overall SOS for each pod

Here's how I'd map the SEC's pods

I think this is the best attempt to balance power and preserve geography:

Terrible post. You’re out of your fricking mind if you think Ole Miss is going to split with both LSU and State. Regardless the following alignments are a very safe conclusion:

1) Texas, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma
2) LSU, Ole Miss, and State
3) Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee
4) Florida and Georgia

The others pick from there.

Why isn't Georgia partnered with Auburn (DSOR)?

UGA is wed to FL and Bama to Aub and would require all of those teams in one pod. The thought is that is murders row. It’d make for some great matchups

You mean like the picture in the 1st post of this thread?

MSU - Ala. - Tn. - Vandy
or
MSU - Ala. - Aub. - Georgia - Florida - LSU

Which path do you take?
