Well there is a big difference between saying too good and too much.

So the "quote" is actual? You admit that?

Really, the semantics of the two is the same but if you choose to pick "too much", be a guest. Bottom line is the kid felt extreme guilt in taking money from a place he didn't/wasn't going to ink with. Taking money from who he inked with however isn't a big deal (AU).

As much as you want this to be true Dyer and Frazier won't be coming back home to Arky.

I haven't admitted anything because I'm not in any position to know either way. But when you post a rumored quote at least get it right.

MSU if fricked! They paid Cam. Death Penalty! Bring on Texas A&M!

You realize that if this is true, and I am by no means saying that I believe it, that Cam was ineligible to play anywhere last year?

After Cecil admitted to asking for money, the NCAA could have ruled Cam inelegible and decided not to.

This is why I have stayed quiet regarding State's potential role in this. I have a bad feeling someone paid something to Cecil on our side of this. However, Auburn has something at stake as well. Since Cecil has claimed he has received nothing, which is the assumption the NCAA has operated under since November. If Cecil received any cash, both MSU and Auburn have a stake in this.

The difference being "solicited" versus "received." If this is true, and again, for the quality individual that for some reason called me a jackass, I am putting no store into message board fodder, and Cecil actually received money from MSU in exchange for a pledge that Cam would play for MSU, then I believe that he would be ineligible wherever he played last year.

I was really hoping Auburn would get a legitimate MNC before they took the illegitimate one away...

Sanity...finally! The "nothing to see here" mentality normally dominates this subject.

JC! It doesnt matter. The NCAA ruled that Cam would be eligible and thus was...Cecil already admitted to a solicitation so if he got money or not means nothing. Cecil already broke an NCAA rule makign Cam ineligible but teh NCAA ruled over the rule.

Teh NCAA is not going to say "YOu broke one rule but thats ok...opps you broke two rules...now CAm is ineligible."
