Ole Miss is simply more explosive on a per-play basis, and that’s how you beat great defenses. Tempo is another edge. Ole Miss runs 74+ plays a game, so Miami has to tackle in space for four quarters against a top offense, and that stress adds up.

Miami’s run D looks elite by yards allowed, but the crack is tackling and run success. If the first guy doesn’t get Lacy or Chambliss down, those hidden yards turn 2 into 6 and keep drives alive.

The swing factor is turnovers. If Ole Miss stays clean and doesn’t give Miami short fields, our explosiveness matters way more.

Ole Miss should have more motivation.

As long as they don't do anything stupid, they should be able to out will the canes.

Good luck to y'all.

If Cristobal doesn’t pull a Kirby Smart then Miami should win

Pretty big if though

Agree, Miami isn’t built for hanging with this kind of offense.

Yeah Miami D-Line is elite (truly elite) but Miami are damn near last in the country in missed tackles.

I think Ole Miss will win tonight and lose to Indiana. Ole Miss will move the pocket and run the ball nuerralizing the pass rush. They could win by double digits if they get going early.
