Not really.
More so that it is posted 15000 times. We've seen it with Fournette (two seasons). We saw it with Honey Badger. We saw it with freaking Mettenberger and Eitling for cryingoput loud. Always the next Heisman winner. Always the next Bama slayer. LSU fans screaming into the heavens, demanding all the accolades be showered upon these guys by game 4.
It's rinse and repeat these days.

Not getting into this silliness again but Duke is a solid defense. They aren't LSU or Auburn but they have been a Top 40 defense for 2 straight years and returned 8 of 11 starters and brought back 2 injured players from 2 years ago. They're a solid unit.

25th in passer rating against in 2017
Tua's passer rating was the highest they've allowed in 5 years.
Their offense is awful, though.
